What Causes Severe Cough And Cold?

Ht: 5'2"
Weight: 59 kgs
Medical history: Delivered a baby gal 9 months back.
Abt 15 days back, I caught severe cold, then slight fever. This decreased when I took Sinarest for 3 days. I started coughing for which I took Brolyte-DM. Due to severe coughing, my throat is now infected. Went to the doc, who prescribed Zithrox, Qufresh, Speedon. It's been two days and the course is of 3 days. I experienced severe cough bouts on the 2nd day.

you have probably developed pharyngitis or tonsillitis due to continued post nasal drip caused by nasal congestion. Please get a x-ray paranasal sinuses done and send me the picture of your throat so that I can suggest you better
