What Causes Severe Cough For Years With Chest X-ray And Blood Work Normal?
I am taking Diltiazem Cap 120 cd and have a terrible cough. I cannot get rid of this, he has given me Prednisone for my cough. I also take Pravastatin Sod. 40mg.& Levothyroxine 75 mg. I had this cough for years. Just had Xrays of my chest OK. Blood work Ok. Please help.

There can be many reasons for your cough including early asthma , bronchitis, your drugs , or your heart condition and it is impossible to tell without examining you.I would like you to meet a chest physician , he may start you on bronchodilators like salbutamol, which may help you.You may also need to change your tablets , please meet your doctor.
