Hi.
Thanks for an elucidate history and your understanding of the problem.
You have been successfully treated by ATT 13 years ago.
The healed respiratory tree is more susceptible for the secondary infection and repeated inflammations can be due to multiple factors of pollution, congestion at office / workplace or at home.
Now you have a problem for the last 7 weeks with
cough, light
chest pain, weakness, and white thick sputum, you can certainly go for further tests :
CBC, ESR, Sputum for AFB, Quantiferon gold test for TB and so on.
If there is recurrence you can get treated accordingly.
CT scan of the chest is a good investigation which helps to confirm or rule out
tuberculosis.
You Doctor's index of speciousness and clinical and tests findings will solve the problem.
You should also get a therapeutic dose of
Vitamin A and D so that the resistance power of the respiratory mucosa is improved.
Continue the present treatment, take steam inhalations, avoid congested places and people with symptoms of flu.
You will be fine.
