Hi,

The use of a cough suppressant such as dextromethorphan (found in Robitussin), would help to decrease your coughing.

This can be combined with a mucolytic to break up the mucus in your chest so that it can be easily expelled.

Paracetamol would help reduce the fever and any aches and pain. It can last up to 2 weeks unfortunately but if you feel very unwell, you should be seen.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
