What Causes Severe Cramps And Irregular Bleeding?

Hi,My period is due next week but today I noticed spotting on my underwear from my vaginal area..Before I saw this I had sharp pains in my stomach,im not eating healty so i thought it was gas till I saw the blood..Im not pregnant caz i saw ma period after the last time I did it..What is wrong?
