What Causes Severe Cramps In Leg?

Hi, My name is Sue I am a tennis player play at least 3 times per week I just came back from the trip for 2 weeks no tennis I have a horrible leg cramp in the front it go on and off specially at nighttime take a lot toll on me when it is hurting so much I would like to yield out of loud and wake me up for at least more than half hour.. What should I do or take in the counter I know i do not have banana for 2 weeks it is my routine every day for breakfast I need your advise??? Thanks so much .... Sue

Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to electrolyte imbalance or deficiency of calcium or vitamin D or B12. It is better to do blood test for electrolytes like sodium potassium calcium and magnesium. Vitamin b12 and D level should be checked also. If these are low taking supplements of it will help to normalize your condition. You can take dark chocolate , banana and milk which is good also.
