General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Severe cramps what you are experiencing in legs and hands could be caused due to calcium deficiency and electrolyte imbalance.
Kindly do the following to overcome the same.
1. Take Tablet. Diclofenac with Chloroxazone, which has anagesic and muscle relaxant activity to relieve your acute pain and spasms.
2. Take Tablet containing essential minerals for bones and muscles namely Calcium, Phosphorus and magnesium everyday for 2 weeks so as to achieve calcium homeostasis.
3. Take oral re-hydration solution (ORS) regularly to correct and prevent electrolyte imbalance.
Gradually, over a period of time, you should be able to overcome the symptoms.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
