What Causes Severe Cramps, Swelling And Bruising In The Foot?

Hello, I had a cramp in my foot about three days ago. Its progressed and is now swollen and bruised on the top of my foot. I cant step on my foor with about a level 8 pain (1-10). I can t put a wrap or a brace on my foot without more pain then it is in. My mom also refuses to care of me but i do have a pair if crutches. Could i use those to keep the pressure off?

Hi,

This may be a complication of varicose veins. Keep your limb elevated and put hot and cold compresses to stimulate circulation.

Take Ibuprofen for pain relief.
