Had heavy, prolonged periods for a year after childbirth. Then had cryoablation a year ago. Since then have had lighter, prolonged (14-16 days) period. Went to Gyn today and have "fluid filled endometrium and both ovaries are polycystic", according to the note the sonographer wrote to the dr (don't think I was supposed to see that). The Dr told me I had fluid in my uterus, which was probably old blood, but didn't mention the cysts. He suggested a hysterectomy, but didn't order blood work or anything. My other symptoms include; severe cramps, tailbone pain, swollen lymph node in back of neck, 2 week long periods, cramps between periods, tender breasts, and I don't know what else. Could this be cancer and he just doesn't want to tell me?
