General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Diahrrea is quite common after chemo and radiation. It is partly due to mucosal damage in the bowel.

Generally, it will settle without many complications. As of now, you can take antimotility drugs like racecadotril for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
