What Causes Severe Diarrhea And Vomiting After Taking Methamphetamine?

A friend has Giardia, lives in another state, has diahrrea and vomiting. Refuses to get medical treatment. Has been using crystal meth for about 6 months, lost roughly 60 to 80 pounds. How does he resolve the Giardia issue. The problem is, is that I m half way across the country from him.

Hi,

He should be treated with metronidazole orally for a week. This treatment should be repeated again after 21 days. This treatment will eradicate the giardia from him. Also try to keep hydrated drinking lots of fluids and water.
