Yes, I was diagnosed with PBC with autoimmune hepatitis overlap in 2014.. I have recently been hospitalized and was given Trazodone for sleep aide. That was about 2 weeks ago. I was given 150mg at bedtime for 3 nights. I had no side effects. My psychiatrist prescribed the same dosage Friday. I took 150mg Saturday night and 75mg last night. For some reason I am suffering from pretty severe dizziness and unsteadiness. I walk like a drunk and if I change positions, even slowly, I feel like I am going to fall. I cannot walk a straight line and if I close my eyes or stand on one leg I loose my balance and fall backwards or forwards. I was also treated for 10 weeks for C-diff infection. That has finally cleared up (negative GI panel). My question is, do you think this is a reaction to the Trazadone, my liver disease or something else. My recent labs are Alk Phos 405 down from 495, usually run in the 200s. Alt 58 and Ast 44, both down from low 100s.
