What Causes Severe Dizziness Along With Fuzzy Thinking In A 40 Year Old?
My son is forty years old and think he has a serious disease, symptoms are dizziness and fuzzy thinking. He has had an MRI and been to a neurologist who found nothing wrong. How ever, he is convinced he is getting worse! I tho k he may need thyroid medication or antidepressants, what are your thoughts?

People often use the word "dizziness" when they are talking about a variety of symptoms, including:
Vertigo (a feeling of spinning or whirling when you are not actually moving).
Unsteadiness (a sense of imbalance or staggering when standing or walking). This sometimes is called disequilibrium.
Lightheadedness or feeling as if you are about to faint (presyncope). This may mean there is a heart problem or low blood pressure.
Dizziness caused by breathing too rapidly (hyperventilation) or anxiety.
Most common case for vertigo bppv.
You have to confirm the dizziness caused by what??
Some investigations are required to diagnose cause for dizziness.
ECG, cxr, cbp,rbs, carotid dopplor, 2d echo and oral systemic examination required.
24hour BP monitoring, tilt table test, indirect larygoscopy, Ent examination. So and so....
Right now use symptomatic treatment tab. Vertin16mg tid.
If symptoms not improved means consult physician.
