What Causes Severe Dizziness, Nausea And Mild Post Nasal Drip?

Today I became very dizzy, hot and nauseous. I could not walk straight without using the wall. Extreme dizziness lasted over an hour with any movement making me feel as if I would vomit. After resting all day I still have minor dizziness and am tired but nauseous is gone. No other symptoms other than mild post nasal drip and some pressure in my sinuses.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you are having inner ear disorder following post nasal drip.

Should apply:
- nasal decongestant
- aerosol therapy can help unblock upper respiratory airways
- take antihistamines at bedtime
- take paracetamol or ibuprofen
- increase water and fluids intake.

If no improvement should consult further with your doctor as might need prescription meds.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
