I am active and healthy until the last 3 weeks. I’m dizzy , faintish and feel like I’m eating every two hours to keep myself from feeling like I’m going to pass out. Once I eat I’m fine for maybe 2hours I also have gluten allergy and am very careful to never eat gluten

Hello,

There is difference between dizziness and black outs. If you feel like sudden black out and feel better after eating/drinking energy giving foods it means you have low blood sugar in blood.

Are you diabetic? Or on insulin? Go for random blood sugar examination.

If the result shows below normal range, keep in mind to have proper meal at regular intervals. If you feel like surrounding movements and fear of falling, it is called dizziness.

It has different mechanism - either problem in inner ear or in cerebellum. For that consult neurophysician and get proper examination and report done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Hiren Hirpara
