What Causes Severe Dryness And Small Bumps On The Lips?
Hello I believe I had a allergic reaction to nuts. My tongue felt dry and then all of a sudden, maybe a day or two later, my lips swelled up and I got little bumps around my lips and they are very dry. Not only that I had this headache for 2 days and I think its from the smell of bleach should I go to see a doctor about this matter.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of severe dryness and small bumps on the lips which is due to allergic reaction to peanuts. It could be due to dehydration and fungal infection as well. Continous licking also causes lips to become dry and flaky. I would suggest you to apply petroleum jelly on it. Take supplements rich in vitamin B12. You can apply cold packs over the lips by wrapping ice in a cotton cloth. Avoid using lip products with high chemical content. You can also apply alovera gel as it does not contain chemicals and seal moisture of lips. You should drink plenty of water. Avoid exposure to sunlight. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined. Start treatment after proper diagnosis.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
