General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
From the condition you described it seems you have otitis externa (infection of external auditory canal).Such symptoms can also be see in otitis media but chances are less as you don't have throat complaints .
If I were your treating doctor,I recommend,
-Topic antifungal 1% clotrimazole application 3 times a day for 3-4 days.
-Antibiotic ofloxacin ear drops ,2 drops twice per day for 3 -4 days.
-Antiniflammatory drugs like ibuprofen for pain
-Avoid using cotton buds.Avoid frequent wax removing activity.
-keep the ear canal dry.
-Report to ENT doctor immediately if there symptoms worsen or there is fever, swelling around ear or ear discharge.
Thanks and regards.
