What Causes Severe Fatigue After Having A Neck Surgery?

I have been to countless doctors and have told every one of them I feel tired, not in the sense of being sleepy but an energy tired, I walk (5) feet from a chair to the table and I am exhausted. I have had some stents years past, doctors says that is not the problem without taking tests, my thyroid was low and I have been taking medication, doctors say my thyroid levels or good, took breathing tests, but this is not the problem, I am not out of breath, I am out of energy. They say my vitamin levels are fine, I did have a stroke 6 months back with no complications and has surgery on my neck. I am at a lost and have lost faith in getting help. What I am feeling is getting worse.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I feel you need to get your CBC count, pulmonary function tests in view of bless oxygen carrying capacity. A chest physician would help you for this.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
