What Causes Severe Fatigue Along With Headaches And Abdominal Pain In A Child?

I have a 10 year old granddaughter for the last 2 months has complained of fatigue to the point of not getting out of bed, sore throat, stomach pain, headache. She is fine for 1 day but the next 2 days can barely get out of bed. All blood work including mono, strep, thyroid, anemia have all be normal.

HI

Thanks for posting your query.

Well see first thing you need to confirm or rule out is whether your granddaughter is not faking these symptoms. Children often do such kind of stuff to avoid going to school or to get something from others. Tell her that you will take her to some fun place that she loves and see how she reacts.

If it is confirmed that she is not faking it then she requires further testing especially for her heart, a scan called 2D Echo has to be done . If that is normal get the following blood tests done and revert back .

Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarification feel free to ask .
