Hello,

- I'm sorry you are feeling so bad. While fatigue is a common symptom in the 1st trimester of pregnancy, given your urinary symptoms, it's possible you may have an infection.

In pregnancy, it's important to treat urinary tract infections because of the increased risks of pyelonephritis.

It may be causing or worsening nausea. I recommend you go in to have a dipstick urine test as well as urine culture.

Also, if you are not able to drink without vomiting, you may be getting dehydrated (which can also cause a cloudy appearing urine) and may need fluids via an IV, and an anti-nausea drug.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bonnie Berger-Durnbaugh, General & Family Physician
