What Causes Severe Fatigue And Hand Tremors While Suffering From Flu?

I have family member that has been sick for about 6 weeks. She is an executive that travels 70 % of the time. She thought she had the flu about 6 weeks ago. During this 6 week period she has been on anti biotics ( Amoxycillian) and a steroid. She is not getting any better and is exhibiting odd symptons. Very weak and feable. Shaky hands and voice. Looks 9 Shakes) and sounds like a 95 year old woman.Cant remember conversations. Very depressed and lethargic. Sleeping 12-15 hours a day. Thought it could be Mono, but these other symptoms scare me, as it is totally a 180 from her normal energetic, professional personality. Need your thoughts and input. Is it medical in nature, should I look for her taking some medication sor over drinking. She has even make comments about suicide. This is a really tough spot to be in. How do I and her family react as to not over react, but to also not have regrets should something bad occur. Thank you for your input.

The severe fatigue with hand tremors suggests that the intensity of underlying infection is not simple flu.

She must get examined for vital parameters, lab tests for the diagnosis and further management precisely.

Maintain her hydration with plenty of liquids till that time period.
