Hi was in bladder retention 4 years ago . As they found no cause urologist said I should wear long term catheter. I refused a year later they found very large cyst on my ovary. So large I had to have full hysterectomy. Gynaecologist said cyst had put kink in my bladder. Urologist said this was irrelevant and I still had palpable bladder. I recently have been feeling very tired and developed a kidney infection. I do feel I am in constant retention but feel reluctant to wear catheter. I am 43 female who has never had children and do not understand why this is happening
