What Causes Severe Fatigue And Soreness Around The Lumbar Area While On Sertraline?

I recently had a stroke. Not a tia I was in hospital and have bn given new meds. I feel extremely tired all the time and feel really sore around the lumber area of my back. Could this b the side effects from the drugs. I have bn taking sertraline 150mg for 6 yrs also co codomal 30/500 for 15 yrs. my new drugs are gabapentin 300 twice a day and 600 at night also atrovastatin 10mg and clopidegril. I was also diagnosed with slight kidney problems earlier in the year. I also have flushes of sweating and high temperatures most of the day. I am 42

Hello,

Tiredness may happen with sertraline and gabapentin but these should start to get better within a few weeks of using these drugs. Atorvastatin is a drug that may cause muscular pain but is generally in the limbs or generalized.

It is important that you discuss the symptoms you are having with your doctor so he may do a thorough physical exam and if necessary tests to determine the cause of your symptoms and rule out/in the side effects of the medications.
