What Causes Severe Fatigue And Swollen Tonsils While Treating Hives?

I have had hives nearly every day for two years. They start will a tiny itch and turn into mass hives on my extremities. It seems that they are caused from pressure. If I pick up a box or a stack of books I break out where ever the objects touch me. I am also very tired and my tonsils are usually swollen, especially if I have been very stressed or busy. No energy which is very unusual or me.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The hives seem to be related to contact dermatitis as you mentioned that the are related to boxes or books.

The swollen tonsils, instead can be related to an upper respiratory tract infection.

I suggest using an anti inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen to relieve the symptoms.

I also suggest to use a throat spray for antibacterial properties.

If the symptoms continue, I suggest to see an ENT specialist for a physical examination.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
