What Causes Severe Fatigue, Facial Pressure And Headache While On Citalopram?

I am having extreme fatigue, worse than usual. I always have problems with fatigue. Also feel as if I cannot get enough air, but I am sure I actually am. I also have some facial pressure and headaches over the last few days. Doctor does not have appointments available this week. Just had check up and labs a couple weeks ago, no abnormalities. Take citalopram 40 mg qd, levothyroxine 112 mcg qd, nadolol 20 mg qd, and loratidine 10 mg qd.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi! Welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, you need to readjust dosages especially of escitopram as it may be decreased to 20 mg per day, as well as thyroxine adjustment according to fresh TFTs and starting inderal or propranolol, as well for other symptoms you mentioned. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Regards
