Is the medication Valdoxan good? I was on Aropax for over a year for anxiety, but it recently stopped working. So for the past few days ive been on Valdoxan & its making me extremely tired & taking all my energy. Im scared to take it because i have a bad feeling about it.

Hello,

Fatigue is a side effect of Valdoxan (Agomelatine). However, once you get used to the medication, the fatigue will decrease. So please be advised to continue Valdoxan for at least six to eight weeks. If fatigue is too troublesome even after that, then switching to another antidepressant or can be tried.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal
