What Causes Severe Fatigue While On Blood Pressure Medication?
My husband is 57 years old in fairly good health, takes low dose of prescribed blood pressure medicine which blood pressure is well controlled. He has become extremely fatigued over the past few months and also his mind is less sharp, not always. He does have an active job and exercises which he claims has not gotten any easier for the same amount of reps for the each exercise. He has been a mechanic all his life and has back and neck issues but I was wondering if the fatigue could be a thyroid problem, his sister has hypothyroidism

Beta blockers used for the treatment of high blood pressure can cause fatigue. If you are on beta blockers, switching to another blood pressure medication can help.
I would also recommend doing a thyroid function test.
