General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, Thanks for the query. I undrstand your concern. Type 2 diabetes is inability to utilize sugar from food... Hypertension causes narrowing of blood vessels.. causing less oxygenation of blood in heart &less oxygen circulated in body/muscles/organs. Sugar &oxygen being two main things for energy production..in case like yours .. there is no sufficient energy for carrying out daily duties... &one feels fatigued&weak. Diabetes is known to affect urinary system too....A detailed investigations for diabetic profile&kidney profiles would find the cause for blood in urine/also protein exhaustion by testing protein excreated in urine -which causes weakness. Necessary specific medication both for good control of diabetes &high blood pressure... along with that for diabetic nephropathy as per need would help you. Supplimentation for Bcomplex, vit. D iron &othrr needul nutrients also are important. Thanks.
