What Causes Severe Fatigue With Pain In The Left Side Of The Chest?

For the past 3 days I have been very fatigued (like having the flu without the body ache). Normally if I drink coffee I get a lot of energy. I have bought coffee the past few days due to my extream tiredness and it has done nothing for me. The left side of my breast also hurts (especially if I put pressure on it). please help me. Should I be concered?

Hi,

The acute (recent) onset of fatigue usually implies a viral illness is present through the other symptoms may not be clear.

Rest, fluids are important, any additional treatment would depend on if any other symptoms occur e.g. if cough and cold symptoms occur then these should be treated.

Breast pain is usually not serious but if it worsens or continues then you should be assessed by your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
