HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If it occurs when you are laying down then it is less likely related to serious heart disease.
The heart works more when a person is active and it is during this time of increased stress that symptoms tend to occur though persons can vary

The fact that it occurs at rest may indicate another cause such as anemia, thyroid disease, electrolyte disorders or anxiety.

It would be best to see your doctor for an assessment which would include an ECG and blood tests (complete blood count, electrolytes and thyroid hormone levels).

Treatment would depend on the cause found.

I hope this helps
