What Causes Severe Hair Loss And Change In Hair Texture?
The texture of my hair has changed and I have lost half of my hair in the last 4-5 months. The only change that I have had medically is I had a complete knee replacement on June 21. What should I do, and where do I start medically? I had a complete physical and a clean bill of health before the surgery.

I think you may check thyroid function. Do a hormone disbalance check T3, T4 and TSH levels to check thyroid. Sometimes Hypothyroidism may cause hair to fall.
