General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Severe itching and oily scalp is suggestive of seborrheic dermatitis. Excess sebum secretion in the scalp causing irritation and inflammation of the scalp which in turn leads to hair fall. Use anti-fungal such as ketoconazole shampoo weekly twice. Wash hair every other day. Avoid excessive oil application on scalp.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
