Hello!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

I understand your concern and would explain that her symptoms seem to be related to tension type headache or migraine.

I would like to have some more information on her headaches, the nature (throbbing or pressure like), the duration, the triggering factors, etc, in order to distinguish her type of headache.

Anyway her performed CT scan has excluded any possible secondary headache (related to any brain lesion).

Cinarizine is a common drug used for migraine headaches. So it could be a migraine headache. It is also used in vertigo and dizziness.

Regarding her medicines you refer, I think they are written in a wrong way.

One of them is Sleepasil.

Sleepasil is a herbal supplement, which is commonly used in sleeping disorders.

About the other drug, you should ask your niece to write it well or make a photo of the bottle and send it to you.

Hope to have been helpful!

Best wishes,

Dr. Aida
