What Causes Severe Headache After Cervical Fusion?
i had a cervical fusion back in 2002, c4-5,5-6,and 6-7. over the past year i am having same symptoms as before with some new symptons such as severe headache but will stop if i turn my neck and hold it, headache stops. severe numbness and tingling in both arms and hands but more severe in left. sometimes loss of motor control and strength, i drop objects. is something wrong with fusion?
The symptoms you describe look like cervical canal stenosis. It may be a consequence of cervical fusion. You can do an x-ray to check cervical conditions. Probably surgery is needed to relieve it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
