What Causes Severe Headache After Dental Procedure?

Have had a throbbing headache in temples for over two months along with mild nausea and dizziness . I m a 44 year old female and Also haven t had a period in seven months. My headache issues really started following several dental procedures several months ago. Wondering if I could have severe TMJ?

Thank you for your question and welcome to Health Care Magic. I read your query and I understand your concern.

I think that you have a migraine. A migraine is a recurrent type of headache which is causing the issue. A migraine occurs due to trigger factors.

Here are a few things that you can do to help you:
Inhale steam mixed with Eucalyptus oil to clear the nasal passages
Take a Paracetamol 500 when you feel you are about to get a headache
Drink lots of water
Sleep well and get at least 8 hours of sleep a day
Eat meals at regular times

You may also have temporal arteritis or you have a TMJ issue. Wait for 5 days to see a Doctor to confirm the cause. All the best.
