What Causes Severe Headache After Receiving Cortisone Shots In The Knees?
Had cortisone shots in both knees yesterday. Get them about every 4 months, have never had side effects before. About 5 hours later, developed persistent headache, not helped by ibuprofen, and b.p. of 188/98. Norm for me is about 128/72. This lasted several hours. Today, still have headache but mild, and b.p. is at 149/83. Should I have been worried with such a high b.p.?
Of course, you should be worried about this high blood pressure. The blood pressure 188-98 mm hg is way too high.
You with your blood pressure measuring from 149/83mmhg you are being classified as class 1 suffering from hypertension. You should be cured with antihypertensive medications.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
