I recently suffered a concussion and whiplash. The generalized headache, nausea, & sea-sick feelings are more troublesome than the neck ache and headache that stabs up from the damaged vertebra in neck. Yesterday I went to physical therapy to evaluate for vestibular therapy; during the epley maneuver, I felt an indescribable pain in that damaged vertebra - that soon subsided. But overnight, I awoke with a blinding headache radiating up into my skull in line with and a few inches from that damaged area. It is accompanied by a small bump that is extremely painful, made worse by touching it. Pain meds and icing have had little effect and the condition is unchanged. Should I be concerned? Should I see the doctor? Thank you.
