What Causes Severe Headache After Taking Lisinopril?

Hi my husband recently started taking lisinopril as well as began using a sleep machine for apnea. He s been getting headaches so he has been taking acetaminophen. Sometimes he also takes ranitine for heartburn. I see that lisinopril can cause headaches. I was wondering if the other two men s interacted in a negative way at all. Thank you

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is not related to Lisinopril.

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist you can consult a neurologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
