What Causes Severe Headache Along With Chills And Fatigue?

He has had a severe headache for several days (4days) that will not go away. also he has chills and he is extremely tired. he feels like he has been drained, no energy at all. he has slept for 2 days and only gets up to go to the bathroom. Can t eat. If you can give me an idea of what is going on that would be great. Normally he is very active. Thank you

Based on the symptoms mentioned- fever and chills, headache, fatigue-- an infection is present

The most likely infections are viral or bacterial with viral infections exceeding bacterial infections.

It would be best to be seen if the exact source or nature of the infection is not known eg if he had cough or cold symptoms then this is more likely or if there was vomiting or diarrhea then an infection of the stomach
Since it is not clear, he should be seen
