What Causes Severe Headache And Pain In The Joints?

My sister just got home from flordia. Right when they left she got a terrible headache they drove 12 hours she was in bad pain when they got home. She hurt in her joints so bad. She was running a little temp she got sick a couple of times had a little diirhea . It s been 5 days she went to the hospital on Monday . Her liver enzymes were elevated. They said she had the flu. But she is so tired.

The flu can cause severe symptoms in some persons. It can be associated with extreme fatigue, drowsiness , joint and muscle pain.

The fatigue can sometimes persist for a few weeks as well in some persons.

If she still feels unsure about the diagnosis however, she should see another doctor for reassessment.
