The symptoms you are experiencing are due to the meningioma and also due to surgery. Please note that when a brain surgery is done there are few damages done to the other areas as well. It is inevitable. Meningioma per se is not dangerous however causes symptoms which you are facing due to pressure on surrounding areas and affect one's abilities.
I would advise you not to lose hope and try not to compare your past abilities with the present ones. You may take pain killers for the headache. You may seek few counselling sessions from a psychologist to feel more energized, active and happy. Also, you need to keep an eye on the meningioma whether its growing again or not.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Anoop Kumar, General & Family Physician
