What Causes Severe Headache In Afternoon And Evening?

I have been taking vyvanse in the am , at about 6am with food. I drink frequently during the day. I do not drink coffee or anything with caffein . I am fit, 180 6ft, 47year old male. Med woks with helping to focus, but very bad headaches in the afternoon and evening. Generally localized at the temple on one side or both, but occasionally even worse headaches in the entire head. Acidamediphine and Ibuprofin are useless. I read that magnesium may help, and have been taking a mag supplement for over a week 1500mg. Headache every day, over a month now on this med and ready to give up. Any suggestions ?

Hi,

I would like to know if your headache episodes are associated with vomiting sensation. Does your headache worsens on exposure to light or sounds? If yes, then you might be having migraine. A CT would also be advisable to rule out any intracranial disease. Please follow up so that we can discuss the things further.
