What Causes Severe Headache, Temporary Loss Of Consciousness And Tingling In The Face?

Had an intense headache this afternoon followed by a loss of time. Did not pass out just have no clue what happened during that time. The side of my head especially my left ear became really hot about 6 pm two hours after and tingling on the side of my face and top of my shoulder.
