What Causes Severe Headache, Vomiting And Nasal Bleeding In A Child?

My 8 year old son complains of severe headaches near where the soft spot on an infant would be, after a while, 15-20 minutes he vomits and has a nose bleed. This pattern has happened off and on over several months and no doctor can give me an answer as to what is wrong. Or give a direction as to where to find an answer. Father s family has history of high blood pressure and seizures but all tests have come back normal. Only diabetes on my side of the family again tests came back normal.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

There are many medical conditions related to headache. Headaches and cases of epistaxis, or nosebleeds, are common. It can be related to hay fever, or something more severe, such as anemia, or a low red blood cell count.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
