What Causes Severe Headache When Diagnosed With Typhoid Fever?

Hi, My son who is 16 years of age has been diagnosed with typhoid, salmonella typhi O- 1:160
salmonella Typhi H- 1.160, he has been having fever in the range of 102 to 104, but he is having severe headache, what could be the reason? this is the second week. please help.

Hello dear
I understand your concern
Head is the part of the typhoid fever and it will disappear once typhoid will resolves.
Take following advises:
Tablet diclofenac plus paracetamol three times a day
Continue antibiotic provided by doctor
Tablet rantac and multivitamin
Give plenty of lukewarm water and home made fresh fruit juice
Avoid outside food and water
Apply cold sponge on the head.
Take full bed rest.
Repeat the test to show the response the treatment
