What Causes Severe Headache When Lying Down?

Hi, I have a headache that feels like my brain is floating or shifted and it feels more uncomfortable and unbearable when I stand or lay down .... Especially, painfully when I lay down. I feel and hear the liquid move and my brain shifting to the back and pressure on my crown and behind my eyes.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to sinusitis. I recommend doing an x-ray of the sinuses to confirm that diagnosis. Meanwhile, I recommend using painkillers such as Ibuprofen three tablets a day for the pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
