What Causes Severe Headache While Laughing And Coughing?

Hi Dr. My mother feels acute headache while laughing, coughing,sneezin and passing the stool. She had to press her head to get normal. It headache receds and become normal within five minutes. Done Test like TCDC, Suger test, ECG, Pheco, X- Ray PA view chest. All these test do not show any abnormality. Pleade suggest me the medication.She has a little bit asthamatic problem. For this she needs to take Inhalor Ceroflo of CIPLA. She is 65 Year old.

Hi thanks for contacting HCM ..

Excess coughing habit can lead headache .
So avoid heavy coughing....If needed antitussive syrup can given for cough suppress....

Drink lots of water...
Avoid constipation if have that can lead headache ....
For that fruits taken more with regular exercise...

Symptomatic management done ....
Take simple analgesic for headache ....
If you have ear, teeth infection then reffered headache can occur...
Check your blood pressure also ...

If no improvement and headache increasing consult physician for your examination...
