What Causes Severe Headaches After A Neck Reconstruction Surgery?

My husband is 76 years old, he had a stroke after a neck reconstruction surgery last April. Just recently he has started having headaches, continuous headaches. We live a small city and we have gone to several doctors but still he has no relief. I am very fearful he is going to have another stroke and this time I may not be so fortunate to bring him home with me.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
No need to think of stroke directly.
There are many causes for headache in old age.
So better to consult neurologist and get done clinical examination, blood pressure monitoring and MRI brain.
If MRI is normal then no need to worry stroke.
Hypertension, anemia, migraine can cause similar kind of headache.
So first diagnose and then start appropriate treatment.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your husband. Thanks.
