What Causes Severe Headaches Along With Sensitivity To Light?

My husband has a terrible headache. It is located in the upper right area by his ear and temple. He has taken 3 Alieve, trying to rest or sleep, computer screen light hurts. The last week he has had pain in his lower right abdomen and feels that a hernia has returned. He has also had diarrhea. There has been no fever or nausea.

Hi.

Keep him well hydrated, as it does sound like a migraine headache to me. The diarrhoea can lead to fluid loss which can result in a migraine, and change in pressure. Keep his feet in ice cold water, as this changes the blood circulation and helps to a certain extent to relieve the migraine headache.

Try to get your hands on some sumatriptan tablets which are ideal for migraine management.
