What Causes Severe Headaches And Lower Back Pain During Periods?
I have had a period that started the end of august. I am now having more bleeding like I am having another period. I am having severe headaches and lower back pain. I am 43 and I am under the impression that my body is pre menopausal. Is there anything that will help? I do not have insurance and I have limited funds in seeking out medical help. Thank You Pam Sansoucie
Because you are having increased bleeding, you may need to have a pregnancy test and make sure this is not the cause of it. Menopause would normally cause your bleeding to be decreased and less frequent so very likely it is not related to menopause.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
